The word.

In Matthew 16:18 Jesus said: "I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not overcome it."

At a church meeting in July 2006, one of our members shared a word from the Lord concerning the above verse.

"Sometimes, our understanding of God and His will can only come directly from Him and not through our own interpretation or knowledge (Matthew 16 verse 17). As Jesus spoke to Peter, Peter was given direct insight into something he had never understood before."

The practical outworking of the vision will come as God's people give to benefit the building of His church. For example, a £1 gift from one million Christian believers could raise £1 million pounds.
